From 1 lb baby potato bags to 50lb master packs, our potato packaging covers every variety, weight, and format the market demands.
Potato packaging must combine strength (potatoes are heavy and abrasive), visual impact (variety branding drives consumer preference), and machine compatibility (packing lines run at speeds demanding tight film tolerances). We produce potato bags in both S/S (side-seal) and SOE (side-open-end) with lip formats, available as flat bags, wicket bags, and rollstock for form-fill-seal operations. Our bags run reliably on Newtec weighers, Ishida multi-heads, Fischbein wicket packers, Sharp wicket packers, and all major VFFS equipment.

Packaging Features
Heavy-Duty Construction
Film gauges from 1.0 mil (baby) to 2.0 mil (20 lb), engineered for the weight, abrasion, and rough handling potatoes endure through packing, shipping, and retail.
S/S and SOE Formats
Both side-seal flat bags and side-open-end bags with wicket lips. SOE + lip formats are standard for wicket bagging in 5 lb and 10 lb retail sizes.
Wicket-Ready
Bags are available pre-wicketed on wire frames for high-speed automated filling on wicket packer equipment, with consistent spacing and bag-to-bag tolerance.

Retail & Private Label
Potato bags are our highest-volume retail product. We produce custom-branded packaging for growers supplying Canadian grocery chains and independent retailers. Our bags meet retailer specifications, including artwork, barcodes, bilingual (English/French) labelling, nutritional panels, and variety-specific photography. We have the experience and production capacity to handle the full range of potato packaging needs from small-batch specialty varieties to high-volume staple formats.
