Friesen Plastics produces tortilla packaging for brands across Canada, using thicker-gauge film with a recloseable header that allows the bag to be resealed after each use.
Our tortilla bags can feature a header hole punch for hanging display and retail branding, as well as a zipper. Our tortilla bag formats are precision-sized for a specific tortilla diameter, minimizing excess packaging while providing enough room for the stack to sit flat without curling. The heavier film gauge provides the rigidity needed for the recloseable mechanism.

Packaging Features
Wicket Lip
The lip carries the wicket holes, so bags bundle onto wicket wires for semi-automatic and automatic bagging.
Header Panel
Folded header area provides space for brand graphics, hanging-hole display, and product information on smaller bag formats.
Heavy-Gauge Film
1.75–3.0 mil film provides the rigidity needed for the recloseable opening mechanism and the moisture barrier to maintain tortilla texture.
Custom Branding
Full-colour flexographic printing for brand identity, ingredient panels, and labeling on both header and bag body.
