Frozen poultry packaging must handle heavy, irregular shapes with sharp bone protrusions while maintaining seal integrity through extended freezer storage. Friesen Plastics produces a range of turkey and chicken bags in three standard sizes to accommodate everything from small chickens to large whole turkeys.
Our poultry program covers sizes from 12" × 15" (small birds, parts) through 16" × 26" (medium turkey) to 18" × 32" (large whole turkeys). Film gauges range from 1.5 mil for lighter products to 3.5 mil for heavy whole birds, using white film as the standard for a clean, professional appearance. Both PTO (lay-flat tubing) and flat bag formats are available to match your packing line configuration.
