Our pear packaging is engineered for the specific challenges of this delicate tree fruit: ethylene management for ripening control, film cushioning for bruise prevention, and clarity for retail visual appeal.
Pears are climacteric fruit. They continue ripening after harvest and are highly sensitive to ethylene gas. Our vented bags allow controlled ethylene release to prevent over-ripening in the bag while maintaining the fruit in optimal condition for consumer purchase. The 1.5 mil film provides a balance of strength and flexibility that cushions pears during transport and handling, reducing the bruise damage that leads to retail shrink.
