We carry quite a few additives to make sure you get the bag that is right for you. Here are some commonly used options for our bags and films:

UV Inhibitor – Plastics breaks down if stored outside,especially in direct sunlight. If you are selling or storing landscaping supplies outside you will want a UV additive so sunlight does not break down the bag faster than you can sell it!

Colour Concentrates – We can produce film in virtually any colour! We keep in stock a number of certified food-grade and non food-grade colours for your selection.  From fire engine red to metallic silver, we’ve got you covered!

No Slip – A lot of heavier bags are produced using a resin formulation which includes No Slip. This prevents the bags from sliding over each other easily and makes bag stacking much easier. We can adjust slip level for your application.

High Slip – Need a low friction bag to slide into or onto your equipment easier? High Slip is an additive that migrates to the surface of the film in order decrease friction.

Anti-Static – Dealing with powder or products with a fine mesh size? If you are having trouble sealing through a fine contaminant or are packing in a dusty area you may notice improved seals when adding anti-stat to your bags. Some static-sensitive items may require storage in anti-stat bags. Anti-Static is a surface blooming agent which is affected by other blooming agents, humidity, plastic type, and thickness.

Oxo-Biodegradable – Nearly every bag that we produce can be made with an Oxo-Biodegradable additive which assists in the break down process. We can determine the length of biodegradability by the formulation of additive in our resin recipes. Learn more at: http://fpbags.com/biodegradable-bags/
