At Friesen Plastics Inc. all of our film is blown in house on one of our three extruders. We extrude Biodegradable films, Heat shrink films, and PE in many colours with a variety of options such as anti-static and no slip. We manufacture films from premium food-grade resins into master rolls. These master rolls will be sent to press or to our converting equipment if printing is not required.

After your film has been extruded into rolls, your project is entered into our printing queue. The plates we had produced with your design will be placed onto printing sleeves using a camera mounted system.

We have multiple printing presses available to print your custom bags and packaging. We can produce 8 colour, full process, photo quality printing.

Once rolls are printed they are then sent to one of our bagging machines for processing. Friesen Plastics’ Lethbridge facility houses an arsenal of bagging equipment including wicketers, zipper machines, side and bottom seal, and PTO equipment.

With 3 shipping bays connected to three warehousing areas we are well suited to produce and stock additional large volume orders. When producing custom orders we normally ship as soon as the product is produced. However, for our clients that require consistent high volume orders, we will optionally produce and hold to enable our clients to draw down from stock. This ensures that you never run out of packaging for items you need the most.
